Navigating columbia earthscape is easy: just follow the compass. With your mouse, click a quadrant to see a menu for any of our four content areas: Teaching, Learning, Policy, and Research. Once you're inside columbia earthscape, the compass in the frame on the left side of your screen and can be used to navigate the site in the way described above.

Hardware and Software
columbia earthscape is optimized to operate with Netscape Communicator 4.0 but will support any comparable browser. The minimum hardware requirements are determined by the specifications of the internet browser software being used to access columbia earthscape.
columbia earthscape provides learning materials in a variety of formats. Plug-ins for viewing content can be downloaded for free from the links provided below.
