Green Budget Coalition is comprised of 18 of Canada's leading environmental and conservation organizations. The Green Budget Coalition's recommendations to cut wasteful and environmentally destructive government spending include subsidies that encourage the use of chemical pesticides, and others that benefit the nuclear, mining, oil and gas industries. The Coalition advocates redirecting these subsidies to renewable and environmentally sound alternatives.
