This month Earthscape welcomes new contributor Worldwatch Institute, an independent research organization that provides fact-based analysis of critical global issues, exploring the complex interactions between people, nature, and economies, to work for an environmentally sustainable and socially just society.

We have also added to the collection of Congressional Research Service reports on various topics concerning American natural resources. The Congressional Research Service (CRS), housed within the Library of Congress, is the non-partisan public policy research arm of the United States Congress and researches and reports on topics of interest to and directly requested by Senators and Representatives. The National Council for Science and the Environment offers the most extensive collection of recent CRS reports relating to the environment available online.
