This August, Earthscape adds reports from several regions to the collection. The Union of Concerned Scientists has published Confronting Climate Change in the U.S. Northeast: Science, Impacts and Solutions that addresses the region and also breaks out the information in state specific reports. We continue to add to our resources on Asia with the addition of the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research newsletters. The European Union has recently published a series of reports on adaptation to climate change that are included in this month’s update. The full text of the Fourth Assessment Report of the IPCC, Climate Change 2007 - The Physical Science Basis, is now on Earthscape as well.

The UKCIP offers an interactive tool they call the Adaptation Wizard. This wizard is designed to help you move through a process from simple understanding of climate change, to integration of climate change into decision-making by making use of these resources. The wizard draws heavily on the UKCIP technical report ‘Climate adaptation: Risk, uncertainty and decision-making’, developed with the UK Environment Agency.
