Digital Environmental Resource Library (DERL)

DERL, the Digital Environmental Resource Library is a Florida based organization - centered at St. Thomas University and originating in partnership with DERM (the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management). Its mission is two-part: develop and maintain a full-text image database by partnering with government and non-government organizations; locate, scan and catalog unique and previously un-digitized publications useful to teachers, researchers, students and residents interested in the long-term health of Florida's terrestrial, aquatic, and urban environments. Database includes locally produced scientific reports; federal, state and local government documents; and short popular publications reflecting need-to-know information. L.
